Credit Control Inquiry Senior Associate

About the role

The National Bank of Iraq is seeking a Credit Control Inquiry Senior Associate to support its Credit Monitoring Department. You will be responsible for conducting accurate credit inquiries and ensuring data integrity between internal and external systems.

Key responsibilities

• Perform credit inquiries using the Central Bank Credit Information Exchange (ICI) system in line with approved procedures.
• Verify that data uploaded to the ICI system matches the bank’s internal banking system.
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies by coordinating with Data Management and Operations teams.
• Ensure compliance with Central Bank regulations and internal policies.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to maintain up‑to‑date information.
• Stay informed about changes to credit inquiry systems and regulations.
• Execute any additional tasks assigned by the department manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in a similar credit control or banking role.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Central Bank Credit Information Exchange (ICI) system.
