Creative Copywriter – Advertising Agency

About the role

We are looking for a talented Copywriter to join our Sulaymaniyah office and craft compelling written content for a variety of advertising campaigns. This full-time, on-site position will play a key role in shaping brand messages for both national and international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop original headlines, slogans, and body copy for multi-channel advertising projects.
• Draft and edit promotional materials, including press releases and marketing collateral.
• Collaborate closely with the creative and marketing teams to ensure cohesive campaign execution.
• Maintain consistency with brand guidelines and adapt messaging to target audiences.
• Proofread and polish all copy to meet high standards of quality and accuracy.

Required profile

• Strong writing ability with proven experience creating press releases and advertising copy.
• Effective communication skills and a solid understanding of marketing principles.
• Creative and strategic thinking with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of current advertising trends and audience engagement tactics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
