About the role

We are seeking a proactive Country Sales Manager to drive the growth of our solar module business in Iraq. You will be responsible for identifying market opportunities, building strong relationships with distributors and installers, and delivering on sales targets across the region.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and capitalize on solar market opportunities in Iraq and the wider Middle East.
  • Conduct detailed market analysis covering supply/demand trends, government policies, competitor activity, and distributor performance.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with distributors, installers, consultants, and other key partners.
  • Set quarterly and annual sales targets and implement initiatives to achieve them.
  • Support regional marketing activities such as exhibitions, presentations, and product launches.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and track progress against goals.
  • Gather customer feedback and market insights to influence product strategy and roadmap.
  • Create customized proposals for tenders, ensuring technical and commercial optimisation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to align product delivery schedules.
  • Participate in product design reviews and oversee successful product roll‑outs.

Required profile

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the solar module industry, preferably with manufacturers or selling to developers and EPCs.
  • Proven track record in sales and business development.
  • Understanding of procurement processes and ability to craft customer‑focused responses.
  • Strong decision‑making, financial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Entrepreneurial, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
  • Excellent organisational and planning abilities.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English.
