Cost Controller – Hotel Food & Beverage

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Cost Controller to join our hotel’s Food & Beverage team. The role focuses on managing recipe costing, inventory control, and financial reporting to support profitable operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare costing for recipes and menus developed by the Executive Chef and recommend selling prices.
• Conduct test checks on goods receipt to ensure compliance with procedures.
• Generate daily flash reports on food costs and verify outlet void control sheets.
• Attend major banquet events with open bar, produce P&L statements and revenue breakdowns.
• Perform random inventory audits, reconciling opening and closing stock, store issues and sales.
• Verify and control complimentary bar orders, club food & beverage costs, and in‑room fruit baskets.

Required profile

• Degree in Hotel Management or Accounting.
• Minimum two years of experience in a hotel environment.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Result‑oriented, self‑motivated with a positive attitude.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage cost controlling.
• Computer literacy with experience in Opera, Micros, FBM and SUN System.
