Copier Technician – IT Maintenance

About the role

The Copier Technician will be stationed at one of three Amentum sites in Iraq, supporting the Operations and Maintenance Support Services (OMSS) contract for the U.S. Department of State. Reporting to the IT Senior Manager or Site Manager, the role focuses on the repair, maintenance, installation, and upgrade of all copier equipment on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a safe workplace and comply with all Environmental Health & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements.
• Install, configure, and maintain copier equipment across various workspaces.
• Create and manage service logs, parts ordering, and tracking spreadsheets for seamless hand‑over.
• Perform complex technical functions including circuit testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of electronic or electromagnetic systems.
• Diagnose and correct analog, digital, or video circuit malfunctions that standard measures cannot resolve.
• Prepare reports, charts, and graphs for management decision‑making.
• Maintain a shared information repository for future copier technicians and engineers.
• Execute additional duties and projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of diversified experience with installation, operation, maintenance, modification, circuit testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of electronic/electromagnetic systems.
• TEMPEST certification is mandatory.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multi‑task environment with changing priorities.
• Cross‑cultural sensitivity and an international perspective.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
