Coordinator Rider Engagement

About the role

Talabat is seeking a Coordinator Rider Engagement to oversee rider performance and compliance across designated zones in a city. You will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring rider quality, and supporting the growth of our delivery network.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and improve rider performance and compliance metrics.
• Lead rider recruitment and onboarding for allocated zones.
• Manage a team of Rider Coordinators and Rider Captains.
• Schedule rider shifts, breaks, and off‑days to ensure optimal coverage.
• Supervise onboarding and training in partnership with Rider Trainers and Supervisors.
• Oversee inventory management and proper use of rider equipment.
• Maintain rider quality standards, including behavior, appearance, and professionalism.
• Develop performance improvement plans for low‑performing riders.
• Reduce rider‑related customer complaints through coaching and corrective actions.
• Conduct on‑ground audits of fleet appearance and rider conduct.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 1 year of experience in the food or grocery tech industry (preferred).
• Proficiency with Google Suite tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Urdu; Arabic is a plus.
• Excellent public speaking, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
