Control Field Service Engineer

About the role

Join the Engineering Transformation team of a global industrial and energy technology leader. As a Control Field Service Engineer you will provide on‑site technical direction for control system installations, start‑up, commissioning and maintenance at customer sites across oilfield, power generation and industrial facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead on‑site installation, loop checks, system tests, start‑up and troubleshooting of control systems on customer‑owned equipment.
• Supervise positioning and wiring of various control panels (UCP, DCP, GCPP, MCC, etc.) including electrical, pneumatic and primary hook‑ups.
• Validate control sequencing for auxiliary systems such as lube oil, hydraulic oil, cooling, ventilation, fire & gas detection, and compressor seals.
• Drive installation, maintenance and commissioning activities while meeting schedule targets and adhering to quality and HSE standards.
• Prepare job‑planning documents, daily outage reports and weekly installation reports.
• Provide technical leadership to skilled labor, ensuring safety and compliance with Baker Hughes and customer standards.

Required profile

• Strong technical background in control systems and gas turbine equipment.
• Experience in field service, commissioning and maintenance of industrial or energy assets.
• Ability to lead teams, follow HSE procedures and communicate effectively on site.
