About the role
SEED is seeking a strategic leader to head its Community Development and Service Delivery Department in Erbil. The manager will guide the design and implementation of community‑based interventions that promote resilience, social cohesion, and psychosocial well‑being across the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the design, delivery and quality assurance of group‑based community interventions.
- Coordinate holistic, rights‑based programming that integrates protection, mental health, and psychosocial support.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team, ensuring effective collaboration, performance management and capacity building.
- Develop and monitor budgets, reporting mechanisms and impact indicators.
- Travel regularly to project sites across KRI to supervise implementation and engage with local partners.
Required profile
- Proven experience managing community development or humanitarian programmes, preferably in conflict‑affected settings.
- Strong leadership and strategic planning abilities.
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Kurdish or Arabic is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to work with vulnerable populations and promote gender equality.
