Commercial Lawyer

About the role

A leading company in the building materials sector, represented by MasterMinds, is looking for a qualified Commercial Lawyer based in Baghdad (Saadon). The role covers legal and administrative transactions, liaison with government authorities and debt collection, working 8 hours a day, five days a week.

Key responsibilities

• Handle and follow up on legal and administrative transactions for the company.
• Liaise with the Companies Registration Department, General Tax Authority and Social Security Department on amendments and renewals.
• Follow up on customs transactions, trademark registrations and other government procedures.
• Follow up on outstanding customer debts, coordinate collection efforts and take legal action when required.
• Provide legal and administrative support and follow up on the company's day-to-day requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Law and license to practice as a lawyer.
• Experience handling legal transactions and dealing with government departments.
• Owns a private vehicle and is willing to travel as required for work.
• Ability to manage several transactions at once and meet deadlines.
