Channel Sales Manager

About the role

The Channel Sales Manager will lead strategic customer and project development for large energy groups, EPC contractors, and government authorities in Iraq. This role focuses on securing long‑term framework agreements, managing major solar projects, and expanding both distribution and direct sales channels.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and deepen relationships with strategic key accounts, driving annual framework agreements and price‑locked contracts.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of major projects such as ground‑mounted power stations and centralized PV bases.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize distribution and direct sales channel systems, including policy formulation and market opportunity scouting.
• Create regional sales plans and execute all sales and business‑development activities.
• Collect and analyse local industry policies, market demand, price trends, and competitor actions, feeding insights back to the team.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of relevant sales experience, preferably within the new‑energy sector.
• Strong familiarity with the Iraqi market and proven ability to manage value‑based marketing, channel development, and channel management.
• Excellent execution, problem‑solving, negotiation, and cross‑cultural communication skills.
