Automotive Technician – Jaguar Land Rover Service

About the role

The Technician will perform quick repairs, routine maintenance and simple mechanical, bodywork, electrical and painting tasks for Jaguar Land Rover vehicles in Erbil. The role demands adherence to manufacturer standards, safety regulations and a high level of customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out accurate and timely maintenance and repairs following manufacturers' manuals and checklists.
• Report any potential delays to the supervisor and manage job cards efficiently.
• Maintain a safe workshop environment and report unsafe conditions immediately.
• Keep tools and equipment in good condition, returning them to their proper places after use.
• Maintain a clean and tidy workshop at all times.
• Document service actions by completing forms, logs and reports.
• Identify mechanical problems manually or using computerized diagnostic tools.
• Inform clients about work performed, vehicle condition and future repair needs.
• Provide clear explanations to customers and ensure vehicles are returned clean and neat.

Required profile

• Vocational Certificate (Second Grade) or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of experience in automotive repair or a similar field.
