Associate Software Project Manager

About the role

Rowad Al-Helool is seeking a detail‑oriented Associate Software Project Manager to support the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects. You will act as the bridge between business objectives and technical teams, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within scope.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with end‑to‑end delivery, including planning, scheduling, and status reporting across the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Facilitate agile ceremonies such as daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives using Scrum or Kanban.
• Track project KPIs, milestones, risks, and dependencies, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams including developers, IT, UX/UI designers, and QA to maintain alignment.
• Maintain project boards and documentation in Jira and Confluence.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in the software industry.
• Relevant certification (CAPM, PMI‑ACP, PSM, or CSM) is required.
• Strong problem‑solving ability, flexibility with changing priorities, and excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Jira for tracking and reporting.
• Confluence for documentation.
• Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, hybrid models).
• Solid understanding of SDLC, APIs, servers, and the distinctions between frontend, backend, and mobile/web applications.
