Assistant Technical Inspector

About the role

The Assistant Technical Inspector supports the maintenance and compliance function across multiple sites. You will ensure that workshops, facilities, equipment and operational areas meet company standards, and that corrective actions are tracked and completed.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of workshops, facilities, equipment and operational areas to verify compliance with internal standards and procedures.
• Identify non‑compliance issues, document them and monitor the implementation of corrective actions.
• Monitor the condition and operational readiness of tools, machinery, and other company assets.
• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance activities are performed according to approved schedules.
• Review maintenance records, inspection reports, certifications and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with contractors and service providers to guarantee timely and effective maintenance work.
• Track contractor performance and follow up on outstanding maintenance or compliance matters.
• Prepare inspection, compliance and maintenance reports and escalate significant findings when required.
• Support governance, compliance, asset‑management and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Industrial, Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in technical inspections, workshop operations, equipment or fleet maintenance.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance, root‑cause analysis, equipment inspection, contractor management and ISO 9001 internal auditing is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Kurdish, Arabic and English.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and effective communication.
