Accounts Payable Specialist – Finance Department

About the role

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join the Finance Department of a leading restaurant management company in Baghdad. The role ensures timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices and payments, supporting efficient financial operations within a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor accounts payable activities and payment cycles.
• Communicate directly with suppliers, reconcile invoices and statements of account.
• Review and verify payment‑related financial documents.
• Classify expenses, fixed assets, and inventory items according to accounting standards.
• Prepare periodic reports related to suppliers and payments.
• Process and maintain accounting entries within SAP and related financial systems.
• Handle invoices and payments for food, beverage, and operational suppliers.
• Ensure all payment transactions comply with company financial policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar accounting role.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Strong reporting, reconciliation, and supplier management abilities.
