A330 Flight Instructor

About the role

The A330 Flight Instructor will deliver high‑quality training on the Airbus A330 Full Flight Simulator, ensuring pilots achieve and maintain the required proficiency standards. This role combines hands‑on instruction, performance evaluation, and debriefing in a safety‑critical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct simulator sessions from the Instructor Operating Station, presenting normal and abnormal scenarios.
• Grade trainee performance, introduce system failures, and manage emergency procedures.
• Provide objective, standardized feedback and detailed debriefings after each session.
• Maintain strict adherence to airline SOPs, FCOM, and QRH without deviation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including recency and medical standards.

Required profile

• Valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) issued by a recognized civil aviation authority.
• Current Airbus A330 Type Rating, preferably with Captain/Commander experience.
• Class 1 Medical Certificate (or applicable exemption for SFI positions).
• English language proficiency of at least ICAO Level 4.
• Minimum 1,500–4,000 total flight hours on multi‑pilot, multi‑engine jets, including 300–500 A330 PIC hours.
• Recent A330 activity (e.g., 30 sectors within the last 12 months).
• Successful completion of an approved instructor course (TRI/SFI) with practical evaluation.
