Mechanical Engineer – Oilfield Services

About the role

AntonAnton Oilfield Services Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support daily production operations in Maysan, Iraq. The role focuses on ensuring safe, stable, and efficient workflow execution within the oilfield services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily production operations to ensure safe, stable, and efficient workflow execution.
• Provide mechanical engineering construction guidance and conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance with technical specifications and project standards.
• Organize and manage technical and operational training programs to enhance workforce competency and performance.
• Lead technological improvement initiatives and support process optimization to improve operational efficiency and reliability.
• Maintain and implement operational systems, procedures, and management standards to support effective project execution.
• Ensure compliance with QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) requirements and promote a strong safety culture across all operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical repair, maintenance, or related engineering activities.
• Relevant engineering or technical certification.
• Preferred age below 45 years (flexible for strong technical expertise).
• Fluent English (speaking, listening, reading, and writing).
