Instrument Technician (Maysan, Iraq)

About the role

AntonAnton Oilfield Services Group is seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join its On‑sync Energy Management Services team in Maysan, Iraq. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliable performance of field instrumentation across oilfield and petrochemical projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform field instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair to guarantee equipment reliability.
• Install, calibrate, and commission instrumentation systems and related equipment.
• Maintain instrumentation records, procedures, and documentation to support efficient operations.
• Ensure all activities comply with QHSE standards and promote safe working practices.

Required profile

• High school diploma or higher; vocational/technical qualification in Mechatronics, Instrumentation Automation, Electrical Automation or related fields preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in instrument installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• On‑site experience in chemical plants, petrochemical facilities, power plants or manufacturing industries is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as Electrician License, Instrumentation Technician License or Special Equipment Operation Certificate are preferred.
