Reporting & Budget Manager

About the role

Tiryaki Agro is seeking a Reporting & Budget Manager to oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and cost control for its operations in Iraq. The role will ensure accurate financial statements, streamline reporting processes, and support strategic decision‑making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Validate sub‑ledger entries, cost centers, and ensure logical account usage affecting OPEX and FOH.
• Perform bank and cash reconciliations, track loans and financial expenses.
• Control accruals, provisions, prepaid items, and amortizations.
• Lead internal, local, and IFRS audits and finalize audit requirements.
• Manage Group Adhoc reporting requests and maintain the chart of accounts.
• Run system cockpit steps, resolve issues with IT or related teams.
• Review trial balance results, generate financial statements, and prepare detailed balance‑sheet and P&L schedules.
• Produce vessel P&L, cost‑of‑manufacturing reports, production reports, and management presentation packs.
• Develop dashboards, reporting tools, and improve reporting methods.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong knowledge of financial statements and reporting standards.
• Proficiency in Excel and ability to automate reporting processes.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Continuous‑improvement mindset focused on efficiency and standardisation.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
