Radiology Lab Instructor

About the role

The Radiology Lab Instructor will teach basic and advanced laboratory courses to undergraduate students in Radiologic Sciences at AUIB. The role involves designing innovative lab trainings, supporting multidisciplinary research, and contributing to continuous education programs within a vibrant, internationally‑focused campus.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate laboratory courses in radiologic sciences and medical imaging.
• Design and update lab training modules to reflect the latest developments in radiology and imaging technology.
• Assist faculty in multidisciplinary medical imaging research, aiming for publications and external funding.
• Help develop state‑of‑the‑art testing and research facilities within the College of Healthcare Technologies.
• Deliver continuous‑education programs and workshops for professionals in the region.
• Participate in college and university assessment committees and other academic service activities.

Required profile

• MS degree in radiologic sciences, medical imaging, medical physics, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of laboratory teaching experience at a reputable university.
• Excellent English communication skills and familiarity with the American higher‑education system.
• Strong interpersonal, planning, and organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple projects.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development and collaborative teamwork.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of medical imaging and radiologic science concepts.
• Experience in laboratory teaching and curriculum development.
• Research methodology and scholarly writing skills.
