Kurdish Language Expert – Remote Hourly Contract

About the role

We are seeking a native or near‑native Kurdish language expert to support AI‑driven projects. The role is remote and paid on an hourly basis, offering flexible commitment between 10 and 40 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Translate, proofread, and edit Kurdish content for accuracy and clarity.
• Provide linguistic analysis to improve AI understanding of Kurdish usage.
• Annotate and review datasets for AI model training and evaluation.
• Develop and refine Kurdish language datasets aligned with project goals.
• Evaluate and enhance the quality of Kurdish content across applications.
• Share insights on linguistic nuances and cultural context with cross‑functional teams.
• Act as a linguistic consultant for AI and language‑focused initiatives.

Required profile

• Native or near‑native proficiency in Kurdish with strong communication skills.
• Proven experience in translation, editing, and linguistic analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail and command of language conventions.
• Strong written and verbal skills in both Kurdish and English.
• Understanding of Kurdish dialects and cultural context.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.

Required skills
