Part‑Time Accountant (On‑site, Erbil)

About the role

SIMApharma is looking for a detail‑oriented Part‑Time Accountant to join its Erbil office. You will manage day‑to‑day financial operations, maintain accurate records, and support the company’s overall financial health in a multilingual environment.

Key responsibilities

• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Use Odoo (or a similar ERP) to keep financial records precise and up‑to‑date.
• Perform regular bank and account reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Process invoices, track expenses, and manage payroll activities.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience as an accountant or in a similar financial role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Fluency in Kurdish and Arabic; English proficiency is a strong plus.
• Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and a high degree of integrity and confidentiality.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Odoo or a comparable ERP/accounting software.
