Accountant – Ticket Zone Project

About the role

The Accountant for the Ticket Zone project will manage day‑to‑day accounting activities, financial reporting, and compliance for ticketing operations and live events. You will work closely with operations and events teams and may provide on‑site financial support during events.

Key responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions for ticket sales, refunds, commissions, and event revenues.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable for vendors, partners, and service providers.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and event‑based financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and local regulations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash‑flow management for Ticket Zone projects.
• Track event‑related expenses such as venues, vendors, staffing, and logistics.
• Handle on‑site financial coordination, including petty cash, invoices, and payment follow‑ups.
• Reconcile ticket sales data with payment gateways, POS systems, and operational reports.
• Prepare post‑event financial reconciliation and profitability analysis.
• Collaborate with Operations, Events, and Management teams to ensure financial alignment.
• Support audits and provide required financial documentation.
• Assist in improving financial processes related to ticketing and event operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience; experience in events, ticketing, or hospitality is a strong plus.
• Strong understanding of revenue tracking and reconciliation.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Willingness to support on‑ground events when required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle.
• Advanced Excel skills.
