Veterinary Doctor - Feed Premix and Additives

About the role

This role provides technical support for premix and feed additive sales activities in Iraq. You will explain product benefits and performance results to customers, support the sales team on site, and help improve farm productivity through practical nutrition and management advice.

Key responsibilities

• Support premix and feed additive sales by explaining product benefits, applications and expected results to customers.
• Support the sales team during customer visits, meetings and technical presentations.
• Conduct farm visits to evaluate feeding, management and animal health conditions, and give recommendations to improve productivity.
• Assist customers with nutrition programs, feed quality issues and farm management solutions.
• Handle product quality complaints and investigate feed and raw material quality, including soybean meal, corn, barley, wheat bran and additives.
• Support feed formulation optimization and monitor flock and herd health and biosecurity.
• Organize and take part in technical seminars, customer training and growers' meetings.
• Prepare technical reports, farm visit reports, product evaluations and documentation.
• Analyze customer, sales and product data using Excel and reporting tools, and coordinate with warehouse, logistics, laboratory and sales departments.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Poultry Science, Animal Nutrition, Agriculture or a related field.
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in the feed industry, premix and feed additives, poultry, livestock or technical sales support.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Willingness to travel for farm visits and customer support.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of animal nutrition, feed formulation, feed additives and farm management.
• Familiarity with feed and raw material laboratory analysis.
• Technical and commercial awareness, customer relationship management, and good analytical, communication, presentation and problem-solving skills.
