Telecom Operations Coordinator - Field Service

About the role

Guardia Systems is looking for a Field Service Operations Coordinator to coordinate field service and technical support activities across Iraq. The role sits between field engineers, internal management and client stakeholders, planning, assigning, tracking and reporting on field activities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and assign field engineers across multiple locations in Iraq, and monitor progress and adjust priorities
• Coordinate engineer deployment, travel, site access, security clearances and operational logistics
• Maintain live trackers for assignments, activities, priorities, completion status and outstanding tasks
• Manage training schedules, attendance records, certificates, client acknowledgements and training registers, and identify training gaps
• Track preventive maintenance, repairs, installations, system configuration, site surveys and inventory-related activities, including work outside the standard scope
• Prepare bi-weekly and monthly operational reports, field service reports, daily activity logs, completion certificates and lessons-learned summaries
• Develop briefings on operational performance, risks, resource constraints, client requirements and outstanding issues
• Act as the main coordination point between engineers, management and clients, attend meetings and site visits, and escalate critical issues
• Maintain an issues register, assign action owners, track resolution and identify operational risks and recurring support gaps
• Review field reports for accuracy, monitor service trends and ensure personnel hold valid site access credentials, security clearances and technical qualifications
• Document client feedback, requests, complaints and service outcomes in English and Arabic

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Project Management or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in technical operations, project or program coordination, or field service management
• Experience coordinating field service operations in Iraq or a similar operational environment
• Strong operational reporting, documentation, stakeholder management and organisational skills
• Fluency in English and Arabic
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work proactively in a dynamic field environment and handle sensitive information discreetly

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with tactical radio, military communications or systems integration platforms is an advantage
