IP Operation Expert

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IP Operation Expert to take end‑to‑end responsibility for IP network architecture, design, and day‑to‑day operation of large‑scale IPRAN networks supporting 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, review and validate High‑Level and Low‑Level Design (HLD/LLD) documents and Bill‑of‑Quantities (BOQ) with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Lead IP network planning, optimization and ensure designs meet scalability, resiliency, security and operational best practices.
• Operate and support large‑scale service provider IP networks, acting as SME for technologies such as EVPN, SR‑MPLS, SRv6, BGP, IS‑IS, L2VPN, L3VPN and VXLAN.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues, lead root‑cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Design, deploy and operate security solutions including FortiGate firewalls and Cisco ISE, managing AAA (TACACS+, RADIUS), IPsec/SSL VPN and high‑availability architectures.
• Collaborate with multiple vendors (Cisco, Huawei, Nokia, Fortinet), evaluate proposals and ensure multi‑vendor interoperability.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in IP network design, planning and operations, specifically in IPRAN environments (2G/3G/4G/5G).
• Strong knowledge of service provider routing and switching technologies and proven multi‑vendor experience.
• Ability to work under pressure, provide 24/7 on‑call support and make decisive problem‑solving decisions.
• Excellent teamwork, communication and collaboration skills.
