About the role
A leading company in the automotive sector, represented by its client through MasterMinds, is looking for a General Manager based in Baghdad. The post is full-time and reports to the Board of Directors and the CEO.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee overall business operations, set performance goals and ensure organizational objectives are met.
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to drive growth, identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive advantage.
- Manage budgets, financial planning and business performance to ensure profitability and financial stability.
- Lead and develop management teams, set KPIs, evaluate performance and ensure accountability across departments.
- Report to and collaborate with the Board of Directors and CEO on strategy, performance and long-term goals.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
- At least 20 years of professional experience in the relevant industry or field.
- At least 7 years in a senior managerial or executive leadership position.
- An MBA is preferred.
