Commercial Manager - Butchery and Meat Industry

About the role

An experienced, results-driven Commercial Manager is sought for a butchery and meat industry project in Al-Kadhimiya, Baghdad. The role covers commercial strategy, sales growth, customer and supplier relationships and overall commercial success. It is a full-time position.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement commercial strategies to reach sales and revenue targets.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
• Manage sales operations, pricing strategies and profit margins.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, distributors, retailers and key customers.
• Analyse market trends, competitors and customer demand in the food and meat industry.
• Coordinate with procurement, supply chain and operations teams to ensure product availability.
• Monitor commercial performance, prepare reports and recommend improvements.
• Ensure compliance with food industry regulations and quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce or a related field.
• Proven experience in commercial management, sales management or business development.
• Experience in the food industry, meat processing, butchery, FMCG or retail is highly preferred.
