Sales Representative - FMCG Field Sales

About the role

A leading FMCG company, recruited through MasterMinds, is looking for a Sales Representative based in Baghdad. The role works 6 days a week, 9 hours per day, and focuses on driving sales through existing and new customers.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve the total monthly sales target and the target for each company, across all items, sizes and flavours.
• Follow up weekly on each customer's progress against target and encourage orders through the company's ordering app.
• Build and manage strong customer relationships to keep them active, satisfied and growing.
• Increase the share of active customers, maintain the customer base and win new customers.
• Ensure the Focus SKUs in the monthly plan are available and promoted in the assigned outlets.
• Promote the company's offers and promotions.
• Grow organic orders by building trust so customers reorder on their own, especially key accounts on the route.
• Monitor competitor activity, price changes and market trends and report them to management.

Required profile

• 1-2 years of experience in FMCG field sales, preferably in food or beverage distribution.
• Good knowledge of Baghdad's markets, retail outlets and wholesale customers.
• Proven ability to achieve monthly sales targets and work against KPIs.
• High integrity and commitment to daily field work 6 days per week.

Required skills

• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable using smartphone apps to place and follow up customer orders.
• Basic reporting skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
