Account Director

About the role

Brand Aid is seeking a driven Account Director to lead its Iraq operations, overseeing the full commercial engine across multiple business units.

Key responsibilities

• Provide full commercial leadership across POSM, Events & Activations, Exhibitions, Luxury, Fit‑Out, and Retail units.
• Directly manage the Account Management team to ensure outstanding client service.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand Brand Aid’s market presence in Iraq.
• Set and execute annual commercial strategy and sales plans, meeting revenue and profit targets.
• Monitor cash flow, report commercial insights to senior leadership, and maintain senior‑level client relationships.

Required profile

• 8–10+ years of progressive commercial or sales leadership experience in advertising, marketing, events, or related fields.
• Proven track record leading multidisciplinary teams and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong knowledge of POSM, Events, Activations, Exhibitions, Luxury, Fit‑Out, and/or Retail.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic mindset with strong business acumen.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Based in Erbil or willing to relocate.
