Technical Manager

About the role

Halliburton is seeking a Technical Manager to lead a multi‑discipline petrotechnical team in the evaluation and development of large‑scale oil and gas field projects. The role focuses on challenging development environments where Halliburton’s technology can improve recovery, increase production, and reduce costs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a core team of geoscientists and petroleum engineers to generate conceptual field development plans.
• Implement best practices for efficient well engineering, field development planning, and project evaluation.
• Coordinate technical resources across Halliburton product lines and regions to support new opportunities and oversee assets under development.
• Ensure technical work is accurate, timely, and meets quality standards.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Geoscience, Petroleum Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in oil and gas exploration and production, including geoscience interpretation, reservoir/production engineering, and field development.
• Proven experience supervising technical staff and managing multidisciplinary teams.
