About the role
We are seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Baghdad. The role focuses on ensuring HR policies are up‑to‑date, managing payroll and benefits, and supporting employee relations in line with Iraqi labour law.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Process monthly payroll, benefits administration, and social security contributions.
- Handle employment matters in compliance with Iraqi labour legislation.
- Manage employee relations, address grievances, and facilitate sensitive conversations.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of hands‑on HR experience.
- Strong knowledge of Iraqi labour law and social security regulations.
- People‑first mindset: approachable, discreet, and fair.
- Sharp attention to detail, especially with payroll and record‑keeping.
- Fluent Arabic; working English is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
