Senior Accountant

About the role

Join a fast‑growing operator’s finance and accounting team as a Senior Accountant. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will take ownership of critical month‑end processes across multiple legal entities and ensure accurate cash‑flow reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Own major components of the monthly close, including journals, accruals and inter‑company entries, following a fixed calendar.
• Reconcile revenue from the billing system to booked revenue and bank deposits by channel and city, providing explanations for any gaps.
• Manage supplier and contractor accounts, handling invoice verification, statements and payment schedules, including the company’s largest wholesale account.
• Maintain fixed‑asset and inventory records that reflect actual field deployments and warehouse holdings.
• Prepare management reporting schedules and respond to queries with detailed workings.
• Support statutory and internal audit cycles with documented, traceable work papers.

Required profile

• At least five years of accounting experience with a bachelor’s degree in accounting or an equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience owning or co‑owning a monthly close on a strict deadline.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, formula tracing and spreadsheet rebuilding.
• Experience with multi‑entity bookkeeping, preferably in subscription, telecom or cash‑intensive retail environments.
• Fluent in Arabic and English to a working standard.
