Sales Specialist

About the role

RA8M is looking for a motivated Sales Specialist to bring its all‑in‑one business operating system to shop owners, restaurateurs and pharmacists across Iraq. You will work directly with owners who still rely on manual tools, demonstrate the platform on a tablet, and guide them through pricing to a live subscription.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and manage your own pipeline through field prospecting, walk‑ins, referrals, WhatsApp, Instagram and inbound leads.
• Qualify prospects quickly by business type, number of branches, current systems and pain points.
• Deliver tailored live demos on‑site or remotely for cafés, pharmacies, retail stores, etc.
• Own the full sales cycle from first contact to signed subscription, including pricing and e‑commerce add‑on selection.
• Hand off accounts to onboarding and stay engaged during the first weeks to ensure retention.
• Upsell existing customers – additional branches, plan upgrades, online store activation.
• Maintain accurate CRM records of activities, stages and next steps.
• Provide market feedback on objections, competitor moves and feature requests.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in SaaS, POS, payments or FMCG.
• Fluent Arabic (Iraqi dialect) and working English.
• Comfortable initiating cold conversations with small‑business owners.
• Self‑organized, able to plan your week and meet targets independently.
• Based in Baghdad with willingness to travel to other governorates; valid driver’s licence and own transport are a plus.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with POS systems.
• Knowledge of ERP or accounting software.
• Familiarity with e‑commerce platforms.
• Understanding of local payment solutions (ZainCash, Qi Card) and delivery services (Boxy).
