Sales Manager – Construction

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to drive our growth in the construction sector in Erbil. The role involves shaping sales strategy, building a high‑performing team and securing large‑scale contracts with developers, contractors and public authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to increase market share and client base.
• Identify, pursue and close new business opportunities with developers, contractors, consultants and municipal authorities.
• Lead, mentor and evaluate the sales team to ensure target achievement.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and bidding to contract negotiation and closure.
• Maintain and deepen relationships with existing clients and dealers to generate repeat business.
• Coordinate with project management, estimation and engineering to align on client requirements and project feasibility.
• Provide regular sales forecasts, market analysis and performance reports to senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of sales experience in construction, building materials or civil engineering, with 3–5 years in a managerial role.
• Professional proficiency in Arabic and Kurdish; fluency in English is a strong asset.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• Proven track record of negotiating and closing high‑value contracts.
• Ability to travel to project sites and meet clients as needed.
