Quality Controller

About the role

The Quality Controller ensures that every vehicle leaving the SAS Toyota Dealer meets Toyota’s strict quality standards. By applying rigorous inspection processes and continuous improvement initiatives, the role aims to boost customer satisfaction, reduce defects, and enhance operational efficiency within the dealership.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to verify compliance with Toyota’s specifications and document any defects or damages.
• Perform pre‑delivery inspections (PDIs) on new vehicles and coordinate with service technicians to resolve identified issues promptly.
• Monitor the cleanliness and organization of the dealership’s vehicle inventory and assist in regular quality audits.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to management for process improvements and ensure adherence to Toyota’s technical bulletins and recall information.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of automotive after‑sales or service experience, preferably with Toyota/Lexus technical certifications.
• Background as a Diagnostic Master Technician or Diagnostic Technician.

Required skills

• Vehicle inspection and pre‑delivery inspection (PDI) procedures.
• Diagnostic troubleshooting and mastery of Toyota technical diagnostics.
