Proposal Development Coordinator

About the role

The Proposal Development Coordinator will lead the creation, editing and submission of high‑quality funding proposals, concept notes and expressions of interest for Youth Speak. Working closely with the Fundraising/Resource Mobilisation Officer and internal program, finance and operations teams, the coordinator ensures that all submissions are donor‑compliant and aligned with the organisation’s mission.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, edit and submit proposals, grant applications and concept notes.
• Develop clear, compelling narratives that meet donor requirements.
• Coordinate with program, finance and operations teams to gather necessary information and documentation.
• Maintain proposal development timelines and ensure timely submissions.
• Support the preparation of logical frameworks, work plans, indicators and other proposal components.
• Review funding opportunities, analyse donor guidelines and provide input on feasibility and strategy.

• Strong research, analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
• Attention to detail and capacity to meet tight deadlines.
