Part-time Technical Collections & Communications Field Service Rep

About the role

Nightwing is seeking a Part‑time Technical Collections and Communications (TCC) Field Service Representative to support a DoD contract for SOCOM activities in the SOCCENT/CENTCOM area of responsibility. The role involves advising senior military personnel, installing and maintaining technical equipment, and providing on‑site expertise while traveling overseas.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor and advise senior military personnel on Tactical Advanced Sensors (TAS) equipment, techniques, tactics and procedures.
• Assist in developing and implementing Concepts of Operations (CONOPs) for TAS deployment.
• Test, install, and support audio and video server applications.
• Coordinate specialized program support with Nightwing headquarters.
• Provide technical expertise for new equipment integration and conduct research to develop best practices.
• Perform equipment installation, system configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and report writing.
• Travel independently OCONUS on a 90‑day on/90‑day off schedule.

Required profile

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• Retired or former Special Operations soldier with at least 5 years of U.S. military experience in a similar technical capacity.
• Recent combat experience and familiarity with technical information‑collection equipment supporting SOCCENT/CENTCOM objectives.
• Experience with web‑based applications such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows, Osprey, Google Earth, C2PC, Streets and Trips, and map printability tools.
• Ability to travel independently, work without supervision, and carry a 35‑lb load.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for account setup and network configuration.
