Maintenance Planner – CMMS Specialist

About the role

The Maintenance Planner (CMMS) will support the Production Department on a rotation basis in Basra, Iraq. You will manage the Computerized Maintenance Management System to ensure effective planning, scheduling, and reporting of all maintenance activities across production facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Administer the CMMS to control preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance tasks.
• Maintain accurate and complete maintenance data to support equipment reliability and asset integrity.
• Develop maintenance plans, performance reports, and system enhancements aligned with strategic objectives.
• Produce PM compliance, backlog, KPI dashboards, cost tracking, and audit reports.
• Support shutdown and campaign scheduling with detailed reports.
• Ensure all CMMS activities comply with HSE policies and maintenance governance standards.
• Provide training and competency development for national staff.
• Escalate critical data integrity issues or system failures to the Team Leader.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• 8‑10 years of Oil & Gas maintenance experience, including at least 8 years managing CMMS systems.
• Proven experience in maintenance planning, PM/CM workflows, and KPI reporting.
• Fluency in English and strong computer proficiency.
