Lifeguard

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and self‑motivated Lifeguard to ensure the safety and enjoyment of guests in our swimming facilities. The successful candidate will monitor pool areas, respond to emergencies, and maintain a clean and welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Caution swimmers about unsafe areas and enforce pool rules.
• Rescue swimmers in danger of drowning and administer first aid.
• Maintain order in swimming areas and ensure the pool deck is free of debris.
• Determine chlorine content and pH value of the water using a testing kit.
• Conduct or officiate swimming meets and provide swimming instructions.
• Keep the swimming pool and sun loungers clean, correctly positioned, and in working order.
• Regularly check pool temperature to meet set standards.
• Ensure umbrellas are properly fixed or tied down when not in use.
• Provide emergency care until EMS arrives.
• Know club facilities, timings, promotions, and prices.

Required profile

• Professional swimmer with a qualified lifeguard certification.
• Diploma or university degree, preferably with experience in the hotel industry.
• Physically fit and able to work long hours outdoors.
• Good command of English and strong interpersonal abilities.
• Customer‑driven, positive, smiley, sporty, and approachable.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
• Team player who takes responsibility and adapts to differences.
