Kurdish Language Expert (Remote)

About the role

In this role you will apply your Kurdish language expertise to help train next‑generation AI systems. Working remotely, you will ensure high‑quality linguistic input that improves how models understand and generate Kurdish text.

Key responsibilities

• Translate, proofread and edit Kurdish texts to guarantee linguistic accuracy and clarity.
• Provide expert linguistic analysis to enhance AI comprehension of Kurdish language nuances.
• Collaborate with technical teams to annotate and review data for AI model training.
• Develop and refine Kurdish language datasets aligned with project objectives.
• Evaluate and improve the quality of Kurdish language content for various applications.
• Participate in regular team discussions, sharing insights on Kurdish dialects and cultural contexts.
• Act as a cultural and linguistic consultant for AI and language projects.

Required profile

• Native or near‑native proficiency in Kurdish with strong written and verbal skills.
• Proven experience in translation, editing, and linguistic analysis.
• Exceptional attention to detail and command of Kurdish language conventions.
• Excellent communication skills in both Kurdish and English.
• Solid understanding of Kurdish dialects and cultural contexts.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote, collaborative environment.

Required skills

• Experience with AI training data annotation or related linguistic projects (highly valued).
• Background in computational linguistics, natural language processing, or related field (preferred).
