Kurdish Language Expert – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a native or near‑native Kurdish speaker to help train next‑generation AI systems. You will provide high‑quality linguistic input that enables models to understand and generate Kurdish accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Translate, proofread, and edit Kurdish texts for linguistic accuracy.
• Provide expert analysis to improve AI comprehension of Kurdish.
• Collaborate with technical teams to annotate and review data for model training.
• Develop and refine Kurdish language datasets aligned with project goals.
• Evaluate and enhance the quality of Kurdish content for various applications.
• Participate in team discussions, sharing insights on dialects and cultural nuances.
• Serve as a cultural and linguistic consultant for AI projects.

Required profile

• Native or near‑native proficiency in Kurdish with strong written and verbal skills.
• Proven experience in translation, editing, and linguistic analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail and command of Kurdish conventions.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Solid understanding of Kurdish dialects and cultural contexts.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote, collaborative environment.
• Experience with AI training data or annotation is a plus.
