Information and Support Center Agent

About the role

The American University of Iraq—Baghdad is looking for a dynamic Information and Support Center Agent to serve prospective students, parents, and job seekers. The role focuses on delivering accurate information, resolving inquiries, and ensuring a smooth experience for all callers and email contacts.

Key responsibilities

• Answer external calls and messages, providing details on programs, tuition, admissions requirements and procedures.
• Respond to internal student inquiries via phone and email, following up as needed.
• Diagnose issues, route unresolved cases to the appropriate department, and ensure timely follow‑up.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions in the university’s CRM system.
• Collaborate with other offices to connect callers with the right personnel.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum three years of relevant experience in a call‑center or customer‑service environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using a CRM system.
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and common applications.
