Housekeeping Attendant – Guest-Focused Hotel Position

About the role

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Housekeeping Attendant to join our hotel team. The role focuses on delivering extraordinary customer service and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Receive work assignments, keys, and supplies from the supervisor and sign the key log accurately.
• Clean guest rooms and bathrooms, including making beds, washing sinks, bathtubs, toilets, tiles, mirrors, and floors.
• Vacuum carpets and upholstered furniture, dust and wipe furniture, empty ashtrays and wastebaskets.
• Replenish bathroom and room supplies, arrange guest toiletries neatly, and spot‑clean carpets as needed.
• Keep fire exits and stairways clear, maintain tidy corridors, service pantries, and service areas.
• Report any maintenance issues immediately and pick up litter from corridors and pathways.
• Remove room‑service trays and trolleys from guest rooms and corridors.
• Coordinate with valet service for guest laundry, dry‑cleaning, or pressing requests.

Required profile

• Vocational training in hotel housekeeping is preferred.
• Good command of English is an advantage.
• Friendly, caring, and dedicated with strong cross‑cultural sensitivity.
• Willingness to put in extra effort when required and a passion for serving customers.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
