F-16 Fuel Systems Technician (Iraq Deployment)

About the role

V2X is seeking an experienced F-16 Fuel Systems Technician to support the Iraqi Air Force (IqAF) in a deployed environment. You will train, advise and integrate IqAF personnel on fuel‑system maintenance while ensuring fleet health and operational readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Train, advise, assist and integrate IqAF on F-16 fuel‑systems maintenance and fleet health indicators.
• Support the IqAF fuel‑systems shop with removal, repair, inspection, installation and modification of aircraft fuel systems.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, in‑tank repairs and operational check‑outs.
• Utilise technical publications, schematics and specifications; train IqAF on their proper use.
• Recommend process improvements to boost maintenance productivity and efficiency.
• Document all maintenance actions and ensure training compliance requirements are met.
• Collaborate with CLS/IqAF teams and execute additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• USAF 7‑skill level (Craftsman) education.
• A&P certification preferred.
• 8‑10 years of experience in F-16 fuel‑systems maintenance.
• Proficiency on recent F-16 variants.
• Eligible for Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.
• Worldwide deployability, including the Middle East.
• Experience working with international customers is a plus.
