Data Intelligence Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Data Intelligence Specialist to transform raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions across the organization. The role involves collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing data from multiple sources to support business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, clean, validate, and analyze data from diverse systems.
• Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and KPI visualizations using BI tools.
• Identify trends, opportunities, and risks through data analysis and present findings to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Develop and optimise SQL queries for data extraction and reporting.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and adherence to governance standards.
• Automate recurring reports and analytical processes.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to improve data availability and usability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics or a related field.
• 2–5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence or data intelligence.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work with large datasets.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Required skills

• Proficient in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Looker.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Working knowledge of Python or R for data analysis.
• Familiarity with data warehousing, ETL/ELT concepts.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and modern data warehouses (Snowflake, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Version control using Git (preferred).
