Director of Cyber Security

About the role

As the Cyber Security Director you will own end‑to‑end security for our network, infrastructure, applications and the pipelines that build and ship them. You will embed security into every stage of development, from firewalls and network segmentation to source code, APIs, CI/CD and cloud‑native environments, ensuring risks are detected, prevented and responded to promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the cybersecurity strategy, roadmap and budget.
• Manage firewall policies, network segmentation and secure remote access.
• Own SIEM and EDR deployment, monitoring, alert tuning and incident response.
• Deploy and tune WAF for web applications and APIs.
• Establish secure coding standards and security gates across the SDLC and enforce them.
• Lead vulnerability management and penetration testing programs across network and application layers.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and cloud‑native workflows.

Required profile

• 8+ years of cybersecurity experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• 5+ years hands‑on with CI/CD platforms and pipeline security.
• 3+ years securing containers and Kubernetes environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or equivalent.
• Proven ability to communicate technical risks to both engineers and executives.
