Warehouse and Logistics Executive

About the role

This position covers the day-to-day running of a warehouse, including inventory control, receiving, storage, dispatch and team supervision. It also involves reporting, coordination with other departments and ensuring safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels, reconcile physical stock with system records, run periodic and annual stock counts and apply FIFO or FEFO where applicable.
• Receive, inspect, label and store materials; supervise picking, packing, issuing and dispatching; coordinate loading and unloading.
• Supervise warehouse staff, assign daily tasks, monitor attendance and performance, train employees and evaluate them.
• Maintain a clean, orderly warehouse, ensure compliance with occupational health and safety rules, require PPE and keep emergency exits and fire equipment accessible.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports, track KPIs such as inventory accuracy and order picking accuracy, and support internal and external audits.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Sales, Finance, Quality and Logistics, and raise maintenance and supply requests.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Three to five years of relevant warehouse experience, preferably in a supervisory role; the text also asks for 6+ years of progressive experience.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Good knowledge of inventory control, receiving, issuing and stocktaking, and of occupational health and safety requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and warehouse management or ERP systems.
• Experience preparing reports and analysing inventory data is preferred.
• Leadership, strong organisation, attention to detail, problem solving and effective communication.
