T3000 Service Expert – System Administration (Baghdad)

About the role

The T3000 Service Expert will manage and maintain Siemens Energy power‑plant automation and cybersecurity systems for customers in Baghdad and across the Middle East. The role includes installations, updates, upgrades, migrations and both remote and onsite support to ensure system availability.

Key responsibilities

• Perform onsite and remote installations, maintenance, upgrades, repairs and cybersecurity configurations for Siemens Energy equipment and control systems.
• Execute preventive and corrective service activities, including system hardening, firewall and VPN setup, and compliance with industry regulations.
• Analyse and resolve system incidents remotely or at customer sites, providing technical guidance and consulting.
• Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to support project implementation and deliver customer training.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and stay current with product developments and industry trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Process Engineering, Automation, I&C, Control Systems or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience with Siemens Energy T3000, PLC and SCADA systems.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in T3000 configuration, virtualization, domain servers and fail‑safe systems such as Safety Matrix and H‑System CPUs.
• Proven experience with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, DNP3, OPC) and client‑server architectures.
• Solid background in industrial cybersecurity, including system hardening, firewalls, VPNs, switches, VLANs and advanced security solutions (SIEM/IDS).
• Willingness to travel extensively across the Middle East (up to 75%).
