About the role

The European Union Advisory Mission in Iraq is recruiting a specialised team to support the reform of the country’s security structures. The team will operate under the EUAM framework, providing advisory, analytical and coordination support to Iraqi authorities and EU partners.

Key responsibilities

Assist in designing and implementing reforms of Iraq’s security sector.
Provide expert advice to Iraqi authorities on security structure improvements.
Coordinate with EU institutions, local stakeholders and international partners to align reform initiatives.
Prepare analytical reports, recommendations and briefing materials.
Support capacity‑building activities and training related to security sector reform.

Required profile

Nationality of an EU Member State.
Registered on the Goalkeeper platform with an EU Login.
Willingness to be deployed to Iraq as indicated in Annex 1.
Open to being considered as a seconded candidate if required.
