Site M&P Supervisor (Oil, Gas & Water)

About the role

The Mechanical & Piping Construction Supervisor will lead field construction activities for mechanical and piping scopes on both brownfield and greenfield projects in Iraq. This role focuses on safe execution, constructability, productivity, and coordinated delivery across multiple disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise mechanical and piping construction in line with project specifications, HSSE standards, and construction codes.
• Promote modularization and off‑site fabrication to minimise site exposure and enhance safety.
• Monitor productivity, identify constraints and drive improvement actions with the Construction Manager.
• Develop and implement construction strategies for brownfield/greenfield phases.
• Align work fronts with engineering deliverables, procurement schedules and handover plans.
• Coordinate interfaces with civil, electrical, instrumentation and other disciplines.
• Provide technical guidance to field crews and contractors.
• Oversee installation, testing and commissioning readiness of mechanical and piping systems.

Required profile

• BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Engineering or a related field.
• 5‑8 years of experience in oil & gas project design and engineering (mechanical/piping).
• 3‑5 years supervising construction activities within a multidisciplinary workforce.
• Proven ability to manage multiple work scopes concurrently.
